Rare summer days

Actually, I had planned to work on a detailed series especially about deer in midsummer, as I now know a few very good spots in my new home, and the midsummer months are ideal for this.

But, I hardly need to mention it, the unusual summer weather in Germany had some other plans 😅.

However, between May and August I was able to capture a few animal and summer scenes from time to time, which I would like to summarise in a series today. Yesterday morning I also had some luck with the weather and was able to capture a few deer scenes after all 😀

Actually, the conditions for the deer are good until September, but the next 4 weekends will be more about landscape photography during the heather blossom, and after that Christina and I will enjoy the autumn colours in Scandinavia and won't be back until the golden October.

So here are my summer moods from the meadows on my doorstep and a few pictures from the Netherlands.

I wish you a good start into the week 🖐

Many greetings,
Thomas
