Frosty World 5/8: The Day in the “Hautefagnes”

I actually neglected the High Fens Nature Reserve a bit this winter and mainly explored new areas around the “Rothaargebirge”. But there was this wonderful day in January when the following pictures were taken and I wanted to tell you about it today.

In recent years I have focused more on the area "Noir Flohay" and "Brackvenn". But on this day I walked along other paths and must say it was worth it, I was able to take more than 30 pictures in one day, which I succeed rarely.

The weather conditions helped me a lot. On the one hand, the snow depth was considerable, which makes many perspectives only possible, because then the foreground has no disturbing elements. On the other hand, the sky colouring was exactly to my taste - neither cheesy pink nor too dramatic, just soft pastel colours with beautiful colour contrasts. I have already shown you 7 images of that day in parts 3 and 4, but today I want to show you 23 new pictures again, in this case the rather colourful pictures of that day, including a furious "ending" well after sunset.

I wish you all the best and many greetings,

Thomas

It was certainly one of the most beautiful days in the fens - I hope I was able to show you these beautiful light moods and I wish you a nice day!

Many greetings,

Thomas
