In our forests part 2 - From blue to purple

As already announced in the last blog entry, today I would like to show you the series of the "blue forests" of North Rhine-Westphalia, which I was able to realize in the last weeks.

Besides the well-known "blue forest" near Doveren, I was able to photograph the "atlantic bluebells" in another forest in NRW this year, which was quite unexpected.

I spend 3 mornings in these blue woods, one of them was unfortunately cloudy despite the very best forecast – these conditions are not perfect in connection with this kind of photography.

But the other two sessions in the morning were beautiful. Just when the soft morning light meets these beautiful flowers, the blue of the flowers turns into a beautiful violet/purple, which I find especially attractive.

There is nothing more to write today, so I wish you a lot of fun with this series!

Many greetings,
Thomas
